PAPUA NEW GUINEA (FIBA U15 Oceania Championship) - Samoa rode the momentum off a strong first-half performance against Australia to take an 85-63 victory over Guam in Day 2 of the FIBA U15 Oceania Championship at the Taurama Aquatic Centre in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Moses Bartley scored a game-high 30 points registering a blistering 70.6% shooting from the field while Ephraim McCarthy and Leenoardo Chu-Sing added 11 and 10 points respectively.
Samoa's defensive prowess was on full display limiting Guam to a measly 29.2 percent from the field including 2/16 from rainbow country.
Matthew Santos paced Guam with 15 points while Elijah Garrido and Blaise Ada chipped in 11 and nine points each.
(Men's) New Zealand defeats Papua New Guinea, 163-51
New Zealand employed a masterful offensive onslaught over Host Papua New Guinea to take a 163-51 win to record their second win in as many games and register the historic most points in a game in the FIBA U15 tournament.
Benjamin Gold had a near flawless performance shooting 13/14 and scored 29 points in just 17 minutes while Sataan Reegan Trego, Sataan Tawera, Ethan Skelton added 18, 17 and 16 points respectively.
New Zealand overpowered Papua New Guinea in the rebounding battle taking a massive 37-12 advantage in that department.
Morea Elavo and Jabez Lucas scored 11 points apiece for Papua New Guinea.

Australia stepped on the throttle from the get go taking a 41-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
Harry Johnson top-scored for Australia with 19 points while Harrison Pennisi, Sejr Deans, and Marcus Windhager recorded 17, 15 and 13 points respectively.
Australia's unrelenting defense forced Fiji to commit 45 turnovers and also displayed their unselfishness with 24 assists.
Team captain Hendrix Harm managed to scatter six points, Fiji never recovered from their stumbling start and dropped to 1-1.

Fiji overpowered host Papua New Guinea to take a massive 85-46 victory.
Estelle Kainamoli led all scorers with 29 points while Moana Liebregts and Ranadi Koroi added 12 points each.
Fiji stringed together a 15-0 run to end the third quarter to take a 62-35 lead never looked back.
Alice Kaiawa offered a bright spot for the home team with 26 points to pace PNG.

Australia continued their dominant run walloping Guam 113-30 in both of the team's second game of the day.
The Crocs' balanced effort was spearheaded by Sejr Deans and Harry Johnson's 16 points while Marcus Windhager and Dyson Daniels chipped in 14 and 13 points.
Australia's offense hummed nicely, all game long with 29 assists while also limiting Guam to only 21.7% shooting.
The Island nation relied on Josiah Quintanilla with 11 points in the losing effort.

New Zealand romps away to their third win in as many outings with a 105-27 victory over Fiji.
NZL had six players in double figures led by Reegan Trego with 15 points while Joshua Book, Junior De Young, and Sataan Tawera added 14, 13 and 11 points respectively.
The Aon continued their assault in the boards with a tremendous effort taking a 60-35 advantage in rebounds.

Brown and Scanlan combined for 47 points while Trent Chan Sau and Ephraim McCarthy added 18 and 15 points.
PNG witnessed sterling performances from Harold Elavo (27 points) and Atti Bradley (14 points) to give the crowd something to cheer on.
