ABUJA (Afrobasket) - The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has mapped out a 3-day preparatory exercise for its men's national team, which is composed of a mixture of home and foreign-based players. The camp serves as the first meeting of the Nigeria team in the lead up to this summer's Afrobasket in Madagascar, scheduled for 17-28 August 2011.
The camp will be lead by Sani Ahmed and Adeka Daudu and will see the participation of 16 players.
These include four players from Savannah Conference Champions Kano Pillars, including Nigeria Premier League MVP Abubakar Usman, three players from Royal Hoopers and three foreign-based players.
The camp will see players put through two daily sessions from 2-4 June at the sports hall of the Abuja national stadium.
