    DAZN to broadcast France national team games in February

    MIES (Switzerland) - DAZN and FIBA have agreed on terms to an exclusive broadcasting deal for a series of key games involving the French men's and women's national teams.

    MIES (Switzerland) - DAZN, the world's leading sports streaming platform and FIBA have agreed on terms to an exclusive broadcasting deal for a series of key games involving the French men's and women's national basketball teams. This deal is strengthening DAZN's commitment to French basketball fans and will be a centerpiece of DAZN's freemium offering in France this month.

    The women's team, led by star duo Marine Johannes and Gabby Williams, will feature in the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualification Tournament 2024 starting on February 8. The event, being played across four tournaments in Brazil, Belgium, China and Hungary just a few months ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will be available free of charge and without subscription.

    France will play in Xi'an, China on February 8 against Puerto Rico (09:30 CET), February 10 against China (09:30 CET) and will take on New Zealand on February 11 (09:30 CET). 

    Meanwhile, later in February, the men's team begin their campaign for European glory with the opening two games of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers. France will be one of the tournament favourites, having been runner-up in 2022 and will play on February 23 in Brest playing Croatia (19:30 CET), and on February 26 against Bosnia Herzegovina in Tuzla (18:00 CET). 

    All other games from the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2024 and the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers will be available in France on Courtside 1891, the official live streaming service for FIBA basketball.

    DAZN's offering also includes the best of European basketball, with exclusive coverage of the Basketball Champions League, including all games of the French teams, featuring JDA Bourgogne Dijon, SIG Strasbourg and Cholet Basket, right up to the Final 4 to be played later this year.
