SINGAPORE - Alex Wilson was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2024 after helping lead all-powerful Australia to a title defense on March 31.

The 30-year-old topped player-value (43.7) to power Australia's unbeaten run as they claimed their fourth Asia Cup title with victory over New Zealand in a tough final.

Wilson, who was part of Australia's triumph last year, showcased tenacious defense throughout and she also hit a clutch late two-pointer to sink New Zealand.

She was joined in the Team of the Tournament by Sharne Pupuke-Robati, who achieved the feat for the second straight year, and Ariuntsetseg Bat-Erdene, who led Mongolia to a bronze medal.
