MVP Delgernyam Davaasambuu headlines FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2023 Team of the Tournament

SINGAPORE - Delgernyam Davaasambuu was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2023 after leading Mongolia to their second Asia Cup title on April 2. 

The Mongolian veteran inspired his team to their first triumph since 2017 with an epic victory in the final over three-time defending champions Australia. He finished with a leading 31 points and was second in player value with 35.9. 

He was joined in the Team of the Tournament with Australia's Daniel Johnson and New Zealand's Tai Wynyard, who led New Zealand to a bronze medal.
