Patty Mills: The No. 5 all-time in scoring in Olympics history

Patty Mills has been leading Australia for ages and he keeps climbing the Olympics all-time leaderboards. The Boomers star is now No. 5 all time in Olympic scoring.

LILLE (France) - Australia may have lost to Greece on Gameday 3 of the Paris Games but Boomers star Patty Mills continued his ascent up the Olympics all-time scoring leaderboard, moving into fifth place.

Mills totaled 13 points with 5 field goals made and 3 three-pointers, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in Australia's 77-71 loss to Greece. Mills, who will celebrate his 36th birthday a day after the gold medal game, tried to come up with big plays down the stretch.

Mills hit a big jumper with 3 minutes left and drew a charge on Giannis Antetokounmpo with just more than 2 minutes to play. But the Boomers just could not come up with enough scores to beat Greece and must wait to see what their Quarter-Finals fate looks like.

Mills now ranks fifth in scoring all-time with 541 points, moving past Brazilian Wlamir Marques' 537 points. Next up for Mills would be Argentina great Luis Scola with 591 points.
