Miezis named FIBA 3x3 World Tour Cebu Masters 2022 MVP

CEBU (Philippines) - 3x3 Olympic champion Nauris Miezis was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Cebu Masters 2022 on October 2.

The 31-year-old led Riga (LAT) to their second World Tour title of the season having won in Montreal after the return of Miezis' partner-in-crime Karlis Lasmanis. 

Miezis stepped up to be Riga's hero in the thrilling final against Antwerp, where he was clutch in the final minute with key buckets and the title-winning free throw.

He finished with a game-high 10 points to deservedly win the MVP after a dominant tournament where he was second in player value (49) and equal top in points (40).
