Miami win FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023

ABU DHABI (UAE) - Miami (USA) won their second-ever Masters stop with a 13 - 21 victory against Partizan at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023 on October 29.

ABU DHABI (UAE) - The Jimmer Fredette-led Miami (USA) won their second-ever Masters stop with a 13 - 21 victory against Partizan at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Masters 2023 on October 29.

It was an unstoppable run for Miami the whole tournament, going 6 - 0 on their way to the title. They beat fellow American side Omaha in the quarter-finals handily before pulling away with a close 19 - 21 win against Lausanne Sport LS

They went up against an equally on-fire Partizan side who had just come off an OT win against Ub Huishan NE in the semi-final. However, the defensive grit of Dylan Travis and Kareem Maddox grinded their momentum to a halt. Stefan Milivojevic led his side with 5 points, but it would be no match to Fredette who put up a whopping 12 points, catching fire late on. His dime to Canyon Barry sealed the game as Miami claimed their second-ever Masters stop.

Fredette was recognized as MVP of the event as he finished as the top scorer with 49 points and the highest Player Value score of 61.1.

In the Individual contests, Omaha’s Trey Bardsley won the Abu Dhabi Sports Council Shoot-Out Contest, while Rafal "Lipek" Lipinski won the Maurice Lacroix Dunk Contest.
