KUALA LUMPUR (Malaysia) - Pelita Jaya Basketball have shown that they belong among the elite clubs in Asian basketball, and now they are set to make another run at BCL Asia-East 2025.
The Indonesian powerhouse impressed in the 2024 Qualifying Round, going undefeated in both the group stage and the second round to secure their place in BCL Asia 2024. Once there, they nearly advanced to the Semi-Finals, posting a 2-1 record in the group stage, highlighted by a stunning upset over Shahrdari Gorgan. However, they were eliminated on a heartbreaking tiebreaker, despite an unforgettable 40-point, 17-rebound performance from James Dickey in their biggest win.
After winning the 2024 IBL championship, Pelita Jaya earned a direct ticket to BCL Asia-East 2025, ready to prove that last year’s run was no fluke. With their core intact and a deep roster, they aim to go even further this time.
