MANILA (2015 FIBA 3x3 World Tour) - The 27-year-old Serbian has regained his status as number one 3x3 player in the world after leading Team Novi Sad Al Wahda to success at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Manila Masters on 1-2 August.

Majstorovic is no stranger to this honour after leading the FIBA 3x3 Individual World Ranking from December 2014 to June 2015. The sharpshooter was the top scorer at the 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships and the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Final last year. He was second in Manila, just 2 points behind Filipino superstar and tournament MVP Terrence Romeo, and just 4 points ahead of team-mate and former number one Dusan Domovic Bulut.

    ...

Players earn ranking points at FIBA 3x3 events based on the results of their team and their individual scoring performance. The 4-point difference between Majstorovic and Bulut in Manila was enough for "The Maestro" to climb on top of the rankings.

Considering Novi Sad Al Wahda will play in the next two Masters in Prague (8-9 August) and Beijing (15-16 August) and in contention to play more, the friendly battle between the two team-mates for 3x3 supremacy is likely to be the talk of the summer.
