Quilmes de Mar del Plata defeated Osorno Basquetbol 101-78, in a game they dominated from the get-go. The Argentinian team never looked back and led offensively by 23 points from Summers, Quilmes went on to win and celebrate.

Aguada de Montevideo came back from a 16-poind deficit and with a buzzer beating three-pointer from Damian Alvarez defeated Pinheiros, 78-77. Pinheiros had a better start and won the first quarter, but the host went on to win the next three quarters to secure the agonizing win in the last seconds of the game. Jeremis Smith led the offense for Aguada with 22 points.
Pinheiros and Quilmes earned tickets to the Semi-Final Phase of the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2017. Meanwhile, Aguada ended the preliminary group with the third position and must wait for the end of Group C to know if they qualified to the Semi-Final Phase of the Sudamericana.
Group C of the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana will start on Tuesday, October 17th in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil and will feature the participation of Estudiantes de Concordia (Argentina), Universo/Vitória (Brasil), Malvín (Uruguay), and Guaros de Lara (Venezuela).
