    The 20-year-old standout was the driving force behind her team being crowned 2025 champions.

    VILLENEUVE (France) - There was cause for double celebration for Carla Leite as the flourishing French talent added to her EuroCup Women winners' medal with Villeneuve d' Ascq LM by being crowned Finals MVP.

    Leite put her name up in lights with a big show across the two games after accumulating an average performance efficiency valuation of 23.0 off the back of 20.5 points, 6.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per outing across the tie.

    The youngster caught fire in the first leg as her team secured a nail-biting and dramatic 78-75 road win against BAXI Ferrol. She dropped 25 points and 5 assists in the contest, before then expressing her desire to finish the job in the second game.

    She lived up to that aim and again proved to be highly influential as she weighed in with 16 points and 7 assists in a commanding 84-70 success.

    Leite received her award in front of the adoring home fans as Villeneuve lifted the title for a second time, having also won in 2015.
