ROME (Lega A) - Benetton Treviso and Climamio Bologna remain level at the top of Lega A after both sides secured convincing wins on Sunday.
Led by a superb personal haul of 24 points and four assists by Ramunas Siskauskas, Benetton eased to an 88-75 victory over Armani Jeans Milano, for whom Massimo Bulleri stood out with 16 points.
They cannot shrug off Climamio, however, as their top-of-the-table rivals sealed a 87-74 success against lowly Air Avellino.
Climamio enjoyed a good team performance, with six players making it into double figures. Sani Becirovic collected 17 points and 13 assists but was just one of their stand-out performers.
Snaidero Cucine Udine are, along with Montepaschi Siena, a win further behind on a 19-8 record following their narrow 71-70 win against Basket Livorno.
Livorno held a 12-point lead at the end of the second quarter but Kyle Hill (18) was instrumental in tugging Udine along to victory.
In other results, bottom club Viola R.Calabria's campaign goes from bad to worse as they lost 89-72 to Navigo.it Teramo. Viola now have a 3-24 record.
Roseto Basket beat Bipop Carire R.Emilia 80-78, Lottomatica Roma thrashed Upea Capo d'Orlando 82-63 and Angelico Biella saw off VidiVici Bologna 96-67.
