    SIENA (Lega A) - Benetton Treviso had to scratch and claw their way into the post-season and finished in eighth place, but their reward was a first-round meeting with Montepaschi Siena and the undisputed kings of Lega A in recent seasons wiped the floor with them in Thursday's Game 1.
     
    Simone Pianigiani's men rolled to a 118-79 victory.
     
    Henry Domercant led six Montepaschi players in double figures with 19 points.
     
    Armani Jeans Milano finished third during the regular season and they got off on the right foot with a 72-65 victory over Sigma Coatings Montegranaro.
     
    Italy international Mason Rocca had 14 points and nine boards for Armani Jeans.
     
    NGC Medical Cantu also won their opening game, beating Virtus Bologna 75-64.
     
    Marten Leunen poured in 16 points and grabbed seven boards for Cantu.
