BIELLA (Lega A) - Luca Bechi has taken over as head coach of Italian Lega A side Angelico Biella on a two-year contract.
Bechi was assistant to Alessandro Ramagli at Biella last season when the club finished eighth in the regular season before losing to Climamio Bologna in the first stage of the play-offs.
Ramagli stepped down from his position on Wednesday.
Bechi said: "I am excited to sign for this club and to take on an important assignment like this, because this is a prestigious team.
"It is a honour to coach this team after being an assistant coach for many years, under a great coach like Alessandro Ramagli. I'm looking forward to next season, I'm sure we are going to make an impact."
