The Minister met players, including center Hamed Ehadadi – the 25-year-old who is coming off his second season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 7ft 2in Ehaddadi is the first Iranian to play in the NBA and has been a dominant figure in Iran’s gold-medal winning sides at the last two FIBA Asia Championships.
