A central figure in Indonesian basketball as a player, coach and an administrator, Mr. Kho’s leadership saw significant achievements for the sport, both locally and internationally.
During his presidency, Indonesia emerged as a key player on the global basketball stage. One of the most notable milestones was the successful co-hosting of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 alongside the Philippines and Japan. Additionally, the FIBA Asia Cup 2022 was held in Indonesia, further showcasing the country’s capability to host major sporting events and raising the profile of basketball nationwide.
Under Mr. Kho’s leadership, the foundations for the development of basketball in Indonesia were laid, setting the stage for future growth.
Mr. Kho also served as a member of the FIBA Asia Board, contributing to the development of basketball across the region.
