    PRISTINA (Kosovo) – The Final is now set in the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket 2024, Division C as Azerbaijan and Kosovo will compete for the title.

    The tournament’s leading scorer Angelina Ismayilova went off for 26 points to lead Azerbaijan past Cyprus 66-49 in their Semi-Final match up.

    Ismayilova went 10 for 19 from the field

    Silan Akbingol was also a presence for Azerbaijan, recording a big double-double of 15 points with 18 rebounds on an efficiency rating of 28.

    The hosts Kosovo, meanwhile, progressed past Albania to reach the final 64-48.

    Kosovo hit 10 threes in the contest

    It was a stand-out performance from Flutra Mehmeti, who sank a dagger three in her 20-point night and collected 9 rebounds.

    Despite a clear margin of victory in the end, the contest remained tight until Kosovo took over in the clutch.

    The two nations in the Final went unbeaten in the Group Phase and will attempt to complete perfect campaigns on Sunday.

    Elsewhere, Malta and Georgia will battle for 5th spot on the final day having both beaten Armenia in the 5-7 Classification stage.
