MUNICH (Germany) - It hasn't been long since November action in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, but fans of national team basketball are in for a treat, with the decisive games of the campaign just around the corner.
The 24-team lineup for the summer's flagship event will be completed following the final 32 games in the February window and some of those pairings promising some spicy historic rivalries.
Such is the case with Italy and Türkiye, two European basketball giants who will clash for the 21st time with Azzurri looking to extend their dominance. Who could've thought they are 18-2 in this matchup?
Things will be very interesting and heated in Group E where Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will look to upset France who lead both historic head-to-heads: 6-3 against the Croatians and an almost-perfect 9-1 over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Elsewhere, world champions Germany head into the final window in danger of missing out on the tournament as they face Montenegro and Bulgaria in the final two games. And you might be surprised to find out they don't actually hold positive head-to-head records against either of these teams.
