HAMBURG (2010 FIBA U17 World Championship for Men) - Frank Menz, Head Coach of the German U17 Team has invited 14 players to participate in the last Training Camp before the prestigious Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Mannheim. From March 27th - April 1st, 2010, Germany's youngsters practice in Heidelberg to get ready for the exciting games at the AST. Menz has to cut two players after the training camp to form his 12-men squad for the tournament in Mannheim. The AST is a great opportunity for the German U17 Team to perform against high level teams about three months prior to the 2010 FIBA U17 World Championship in Hamburg.

Paul Albrecht (TuS Jena), Besnik Bekteshi (BSG Ludwigsburg), Fabian Bleck (Phoenix Hagen), Anselm Hartmann (TuS Jena), Stephan Haukohl (TuS Jena), Jakob Krumbeck (TuS Jena), Jonathan Malu (SOBA Rhöndorf), Malik Müller (SG Urspringschule), Josip Peric (Picture, ALBA Berlin), Leon Tolksdorf (ALBA Berlin), Bogdan Radosavljevic (without club), Johannes Richter (Franken Hexer), Tim Unterluggauer (TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen), and Julius Wolf (SG Urspringschule).
On Call: David Herwig (ALBA Berlin), Mauricio Marin (IBBA Berlin), Max Merz (MTV Kronberg), Nikolaj Vukovic (TuS Jena).
German U17 Head Coach Frank Menz, Assistant Trainer Robert Bauer, Physiotherapist Claudia Lange, Team Manager Jochen Veit (Heidelberg only) and Head of Delegation Stefan Raid (AST only) will be with the team.
