    GER - Bamberg crush Alba on an eventful BBL day 14

    WEISSENFELS (BEKO BBL) - The 14th Beko BBL game day saw one of the biggest upsets in the Beko BBL, exciting games and more spectacular individual performances.

    The DEUTSCHE BANK SKYLINERS won their third game in a row beating TBB Trier 72:55 and improved to 11:3. Frankfurt was never seriously threatened in this game as they had their biggest lead at 21 points in the game. The DEUTSCHE BANK SKYLINERS were led by Pascal Roller who had the hot hand scoring 17 points.

    DaShaun wood contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Jimmy McKinney added 10 points. TBB Trier was led by Lebron James friend Dru Joyce with 11 points.

    The New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig continue to quietly win games collecting their third in a row against Phoenix Hagen 92:81, who lost their fifth in a row and seventh in their last eight games.

    The New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig were led by Tony Skinn, Jason Cain, and LaMarr Greer with 15 points a piece. Marcus Goree added 11 points. Phoenix Hagen was led by David bell with 20 points. Zygimantas Jonusas produced 18 points and Mark Dorris chipped in with 16 points.

    The big North derby between EWE Baskets Oldenburg and Eisbären Bremerhaven was won by the 2009 Beko BBL champion Oldenburg, who won their second game in a row leaving Eisbären Bremerhaven on the end of a two game losing streak. A big 30:12 Oldenburg third quarter helped propel the team to victory.

    The EWE Baskets Oldenburg were led by Rickey Paulding with 21 points. Mindaugas Lukauskis had another great game with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists. Oliver Stevic added 16 points and ex NBA player Eddie Gill gave his debut chipping in with eight points, five rebounds and five assists. The Eisbaeren Bremerhaven were led by Sean Denison with 17 points. Torrell Martin added 11 points and Philipp Schwethelm 10 points.

    BG Göttingen are slowly getting on track winning their fourth game in a row 76:48 against the WALTER Tigers Tuebingen. A 27:10 third quarter helped the team of John Patrick celebrate the win.

    BG Göttingen was led by Mike Scott with 18 points and eight rebounds. Jason Boone had a solid game with 10 points and nine rebounds and Louis Dale contributed 10 points. Tübingen were led by Branislav Ratkovica and Anatoly Kashirov with 10 points a piece.

    The biggest and most unlikely upset of the last years was Brose Baskets Bamberg humiliating Alba Berlin 103:52, winning their 13th game in a row. Bamberg led 51:31 at halftime and outscored the 8 time Beko BBL champion 52:21 in the second half.

    The Brose Baskets Bamberg were led by Reyshawn Terry with 27 points. Anton Gavel added 16 points. Brian Roberts contributed 13 points and Predrag Suput 12 points. Berlin was led by Derrick Allen with 13 points. Immanuel McElroy added 10 points.

    The Artland Dragons continue to stay hot winning their third game in a row while the Mitteldeutscher BC stay ice cold losing their fifth game in a row. It was the return of ex players Michael Jordan and Ronald Ross to the Artland Arena, but the Artland Dragons shot and rebounded better putting a dent to the homecoming of the Americans.

    The Artland Dragons were led by Tyrese Rice for the second game in a row with 26 points. Nathan Peavy contributed 15 points. Darren Fenn added 13 points and Adam Hess and Ruben Boumtje Boumtje chipped in with 11 points a piece.

    The Mitteldeutscher BC was led by Ronald Ross with 23 points. Wayne Bernard produced 18 points. Guido Grünheid added 16 points and Sascha Leutloff chipped in with 14 points.

    Ratiopharm Ulm broke their three game losing streak winning against BBC Bayreuth 82:73. Ratiopharm Ulm was led by John Bryant with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Robin Benzing scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Rocky Trice added 13 points and Per Günther was solid with 10 points and six assists. BBC Bayreuth was led by Jaivon Harris with 19 points. Jared Reiner added 16 points. Marcus Ginyard chipped in with 15 points.

    EnBW Ludwigsburg remains one of the hottest teams in the Beko BBL while going almost unnoticed beating the hapless Gloria GIANTS Düsseldorf 88:66. Ludwigsburg already had the game decided at half time leading 48:22.

    Ludwigsburg was led by John Bowler with 21 points. Donatas Zavackas produced 15 points. German David McCray had a solid game with 14 points. Ex NBA player Toby Bailey added 12 points and 17 rebounds. The Gloria GIANTS Düsseldorf were led by Olumuyiwa Famutimi with 15 points and 10 rebounds. DeAndre Haynes added 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.
