LONDON, United Kingdom/MIES, Switzerland - With the 2016-17 basketball season underway, Genius Sports, in partnership with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), is proud to announce the launch of its new and improved 2017 LiveStats Webcast product.
New features include an updated Live Video tab that creates a full second screen viewing experience, new statistics including comparisons between team leaders throughout the duration of a game as well as several new languages, all creating a responsive and easily navigable layout across all devices.
Over the past decade, Genius Sports has worked alongside FIBA, the world governing body of basketball, to provide the premier live data experience for basketball fans in over 120 countries, covering up to 1,000 games a week. One of the main objectives of the cooperation has been the continued support of FIBA’s membership with best practice and innovative digital tools to enhance efficiency and to create opportunities for additional revenue for leagues and federations.
Genius Sports' Webcasts provide dynamic live statistics that evolve in real time to the events of any game. Millions of fans and basketball stakeholders worldwide are provided with player and team-specific statistics and percentages that display key performance metrics in a visually engaging manner.

Recognising the increasing demand for live global sports content, Genius Sports has also created a new Summary page that provides basketball fans with a visual snapshot of the current in-play action.
