    PARIS (2010 FIBA U17 World Championship Women) - France's Women's U17 team leave for Serbia today as they continue their preparations for the U17 World Championship.

    Head coach Arnaud Guppillotte selected 12 players to take on Serbia's U18 team in three friendlies in Banja Koviljaca.

    The games will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    Romane Bernies and Esther Niamke are not part of the roster making the trip and will reconvene with their team-mates on 4th July in Rodez.

    Guppillotte's team just came off a sweep of a two-game series against Sweden's U18 national side.

    France are the host nation for the inaugural FIBA U17 World Championship for Women which will be held in Toulouse and Rodez from 16th to 25th July.

    France U17 Women's team for games against Serbia U18: Justine Barthelemy, Sara Chevaugeon, Jodie Cornelie, Lola De Angelis, Christelle Diallo, Olivia Epoupa, Margaux Galliou-Loko, Marie Bernadette Mbuyamba-Tshimanga, Laure Mercier, Alice Nayo, Caroline Plust, Claire Stievenard.
