ZARAGOZA (Spain) - Winning ZVVZ USK Praha trio Brionna Jones, Ezi Magbegor and Valeriane Ayayi were all named to the EuroLeague Women Final Six All-Star Five, presented by Iberia.
Jones led the way, having also picked up the MVP award after proving to be a colossus in her team's memorable 66-53 win against CIMSA CBK Mersin in the title decider.
The center could barely miss and went 11 of 14 from the floor to finish with 24 points and a double-double of 11 boards as she tallied a majestic performance efficiency valuation of 30. She averaged 19.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.3 steals across her three outings, for an efficiency of 24.7.
Ayayi was on fire early in the title game and finished with 14 points to set them on the road to success. The French winger also recorded 4 assists and 3 rebounds against Mersin. Her Final Six average was 15.6 for efficiency after contributing 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
Magbegor was included off the back of her standout show in the Semi-Finals when she erupted for a massive double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds which was the pivotal factor in her team pulling off the upset against Fenerbahce. Across the competition, she averaged 20.3 in efficiency, 11.0 points and 13.0 rebounds per outing.
While Natasha Howard was unable to get over the line with CIMSA CBK Mersin,she did at least have the consolation of nailing down an All-Star Five spot. The forward averaged 16.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per outing.
Gabby Williams of Fenerbahce Opet takes the last berth after she posted 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
