MUNICH (Germany) - The lineup for the Second Round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers has now been confirmed.
Austria, Romania, Switzerland and Norway were the four teams to advance from the First Round, and are joined by eight teams from the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers.
Croatia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Hungary, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Slovakia and Ukraine did not make it out of their respective groups, as they failed to secure qualification to the Final Round.
The 12 participating teams in the Second Round will be seeded following the next update of the FIBA World Ranking Men, presented by Nike.
They will be split into four groups of three teams in next month's draw, which will take place at the House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland on Friday, March 14 at 14:30 CET.
The Second Round action will take place across six gamedays from August 2-20, with the top two teams in each group - eight in total - qualifying for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers.
