MUNICH (Germany) - The FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 field was finalized on Sunday, following a dramatic conclusion to the Qualifiers to decide the last seven spots.
Belgium, Montenegro and Slovenia confirmed their spots as group winners, while Portugal, Great Britain, Lithuania and Switzerland advanced as the four best-ranked runners-up to complete the lineup.
They joined France, Serbia, Spain, Sweden and Türkiye who had already qualified ahead of the final day, alongside the four co-hosts Czechia, Germany, Greece and Italy.
Portugal sealed a historic debut appearance with victory over Serbia, while there will be tournament returns for Lithuania, Sweden and Switzerland - who last participated in 1956.
In accordance to the Official Basketball Rules, all results counted to determine the best second-placed teams from the eight groups.

A total of 36 national teams contested the Qualifiers, which were played across the three windows in November 2023, November 2024 and February 2025.
The 16 teams qualified for the Final Round will be seeded based on the FIBA World Ranking Women, presented by Nike, with an update to reflect the results of the third - and final - window of the Qualifiers.
FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2025 will be played between June 18-29 in the cities of Brno, Czechia; Hamburg, Germany; Bologna, Italy and Piraeus, Greece - which will also host the Final Phase.
The draw will take place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, Greece on March 8, with the teams learning their opponents as they are split into four groups of four.
Tickets for the Final Round are already on sale following the launch in December.
