An action-packed summer of basketball!
MUNICH (Germany) - FIBA Europe has announced that the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2025 will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia, from August 8-16, 2025.
The event, initially scheduled to take place in Istanbul, Türkiye, has been relocated, with the Georgian Basketball Federation approved as the new host.
FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2025 will serve as the qualifier for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026 in Türkiye, with the the five top-ranked teams earning qualification, along with host nation Türkiye, who have a direct berth.
