Ciudad Juárez’s UACJ University Gymnasium to host the event from June 2 to 8.

MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Regional Office in the Americas has announced that Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, will host the 2025 edition of the FIBA U16 AmeriCup, scheduled to take place from June 2 to 8. All games will be held at the UACJ University Gymnasium. In 2024, this same venue successfully hosted the Centrobasket U15 Championship. This will mark the third consecutive edition (2021, 2023) and the fourth overall (2011) that Mexico serves as host of the tournament. Eight national teams will compete in the FIBA U16 AmeriCup: Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina—who finished first, second, and third respectively at the 2024 South American U15 Championship; Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic—who earned their spots at the 2024 Centrobasket U15 Championship; and the United States and Canada, representing North America. The United States has dominated the category, winning the gold medal in all eight previous editions of the tournament. The top four teams from the FIBA U16 AmeriCup will qualify for the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026. FIBA
