FIBA - Saturday deadline to apply for U19 Women accreditation

PUERTO MONTT (FIBA U19 World Championship for Women) - The deadline to apply for media accreditation for the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women is this Saturday, 18 June.

All media wishing to attend the Championship – to be held between 21 and 31 July in Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas, Chile – are required to fill in the online application form. Access restricted, the registration portal is protected by the following password: CHILE2011.

Please note that the application process is an online service only; it will not be possible to obtain accreditation for this event by any other means. The online form is available at www.fiba.basketball/chile2011-accreditation.

The deadline for application is 18 June 2011. Requests received after this date will not be taken into consideration.

The online registration form is an application only and accordingly does not guarantee accreditation to the event.

FIBA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) will inform all applicants of the success of their requests no later than 1st July 2011.

Known until 2001 as the World Championship for Junior Women, the FIBA U19 World Championship for Women was first held in Colorado Springs, USA, in 1985.
