FIBA innovates with 4K broadcast at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters 2019

DEBRECEN (Hungary) - FIBA will produce and broadcast for the first time ever in 4K during an outstanding week of 3x3 basketball in Debrecen, Hungary, which will include not only the FIBA 3x3 World Tour but also the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series and the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2019, on August 27 - September 1.
FIBA will start 2 weeks of digital innovation at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 with the 4K livestream of 3 of the biggest FIBA 3x3 events.
In the fifth year of being home to 3x3 competitions, Debrecen was an obvious choice to showcase the new broadcast technology. Fans will enjoy the high resolution and enhanced images during the streaming of a World Tour which includes 9 of the best 11 professionals teams in the world, a Women's Series with 2 World Cup 2019 medalists and Europe Cup with 24 of the top European teams.
FIBA 3x3 is known for its youth-oriented approach and social media success. For these reasons, the 4K broadcast will be brought exclusively to the community of more than 2 million FIBA 3x3 fans on Facebook, YouTube and Sina Weibo.
