24 nations will be competing to be crowned the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 champions

    MUNICH (Germany) - The field for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 has now been confirmed, after the conclusion of the Qualifiers, on Monday.

    13 teams booked their spots in the final window to complete the lineup for the Final Round, which will take place in the cities of Limassol, Cyprus; Tampere, Finland; Katowice, Poland and Riga, Latvia from August 27 - September 14, 2025.

    The four co-hosts qualified automatically, and were joined by 20 teams that competed across three qualifying windows in February 2024, November 2024 and February 2025.

    France, Latvia and Serbia all completed the Qualifiers campaign with a perfect record of six wins from six.

    Cyprus will be making their tournament debut, while there will also be returns to the Final Round for Iceland, Latvia, Portugal and Sweden.

    Meanwhile, the eight teams that missed out on qualification will now transfer to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers Second Round, in August.

    The qualified teams for FIBA EuroBasket 2025 will find out their opponents when the draw takes place in Riga, Latvia on Thursday, March 27 at 14:00 CET.

    Seeds for the draw will be based on the upcoming FIBA World Ranking Men, presented by Nike update, which will reflect the results from the final window of continental qualifiers.
