    Women's Asia Cup 2023 champion Li Meng again voted Player of the Year (Women) by the fans

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - 2023 has been quite a year for basketball in Asia. We’re taking the time to celebrate the best in Asia over the past year and letting you decide in a FAN VOTE which stands out the most.

    BEIRUT (Lebanon) - For a second straight year, Li Meng has won the Asia's Player of the Year (Women) 2023 Fan Vote.

    She was one of the best players on a China national team that put a stop to Japan's reign as the champions of the FIBA Women's Asia Cup, winning the title this past year in Sydney, Australia. Meng averaged 14.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game, highlighted by 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists in the Final.

    The Fan Vote was organized in brackets of three rounds - Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final.

    Fans had one day from when the bracket was posted (each day at 13:00 GMT +2 starting from 25 December 2023) to show their support for their favorite player.

    The players with the most votes at 12:00 GMT +2 advanced to the next round until the Fan Vote was decided on 28 December 2023.
