ALMATY (Kazakhstan) - The first-ever Almaty Masters will come to life as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour hits a crucial juncture in its riveting season.

Here is all the important information for the sixth Masters of 2024 as the World Tour travels to a new frontier.

Where can I watch the Almaty Masters?

The action runs from July 13-14, and you can follow it live on the FIBA 3x3 YouTube page.

    Who is competing in Almaty?

Eight of the top 13 teams in the rankings and a total of 12 squads: Ub Huishan NE, Vienna, Raudondvaris Hoptrans, Partizan, Riffa, Lausanne,  San Juan Church's, Hangzhou,  Zavkhan SAINSCORE, Bishkek, Atyrau, Almaty

    What are the pools?

    Who are the favorites?

After a slow start to the season by their impossibly high standards, Ub Huishan NE (SRB) are back flexing on the competition.

They've regained their swagger like Djokovic on grass with the Serbs winning back-to-back at the Chengdu Masters and Fribourg Challenger.

This is a loaded draw with Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU) also looking to capture a second title on this season's World Tour.

They'll bring to Almaty a three-headed monster with Aurelijus Pukelis, Marijus Uzupis and Evaldas Dziaugys capable of going on heaters.

No.2 seed Vienna (AUT) are coming hard having finished runner-up in Edmonton and they have plenty of firepower to rack up 21 points very quickly with Nico Kaltenbrunner and Matthias Linortner a deadly one-two punch.

Lausanne (SUI) has gone to another level in 2024 and made two finals on the World Tour so far. They still haven't broken through for a first-ever title, but the Swiss Maestros are determined to create history.

Partizan (SRB) and Riffa (BRN) have been a bit up and down this season, but both teams are loaded with stars, while San Juan Church's (PUR) will welcome back with open arms sniper Antonio Ralat.

We've gone on too long, but just have to mention Hangzhou (CHN), who are former winners on the World Tour and sharpshooter Vladimir Trajkovic knows what it is like to win MVP on the big stage.

Who are the players to watch?

Stefan Milivojevic and new partner-in-crime Milos Supica are ready to bully opponents.

There is no better defender than Dennis Donkor, who doubles as a scoring machine making the Riffa star seem like he was built in a 3x3 lab.

Lausanne doesn't have one magician, but two! Imagine David Blaine and David Copperfield joining forces and that's what you get when Gilles Martin and Malik Hluchoweckyj share the half-court.

While bucket getter Enkhsaikhan Bayarsaikhan is aiming to put Zavkhan SAINSCORE (MGL) on the World Tour map.
