Week 8 Top Performers: Vital, Brown, Jones, Tarolis, Scrubb

MUNICH (Germany) - With games on the final gameday of 2023 decided late on along with captivating team performances, individual heroes emerged from the pack.

Legia Warszawa made their statement with a dominating victory over Jonava CBet. The man at the heart of it all was the competition's leading scorer Christian Vital who dropped 34 points and 5 steals for an incredible efficiency rating of 36.

Meanwhile, ZZ Leiden were made to sweat but came away with a road win over Itelyum Varese and they have the blistering showing from Tajion Jones to thank as he hit six three-pointers for a game-high 30 points, good for a rating of 27.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, Varese's Gabe Brown was in fine form as he secured a solid double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Brown also drained five three-pointers for a giant efficiency mark of 35.

Phil Scrubb makes the lineup for a second straight week as he led from the front for Bahcesehir College as they went 2-0 at the expense of Sporting CP. The veteran Canadian guard went 4-of-7 from he field for his 18 points and he also dished out 6 assists.

A near perfect percentage from the field from Donatas Tarolis gives him the spotlight to end the year, as the Lithuanian shot 85 percent for his 28 points, but he couldn't prevent CSM CSU Oredea from falling to defeat against the unbeaten NINERS Chemnitz.
