    Greene named FIBA Europe Cup Finals MVP

    MUNICH (Germany) - Phillip Greene of Anwil Wloclawek has been named Finals MVP, after leading his side to the FIBA Europe Cup title over Cholet Basket.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Phillip Greene has been named Finals MVP after leading Anwil Wloclawek to the FIBA Europe Cup title.

    The American guard averaged 15.5 points and 3.5 assists across the two legs to help his team overcome Cholet Basket in a dramatic battle and was presented the award by French legend Antoine Rigaudeau.

    Greene set the tone in the first leg on home soil with 20 points on 5-of-8 three-point shooting along with 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in the 81-77 victory.

    He followed that up with a solid 11-point, 4-assist effort in Anwil's title-clinching win on the road in the second leg.
