MUNICH (Germany) - Michel Diouf has surpassed Trae Golden's total of 897 points to become the all-time leading scorer in FIBA Europe Cup history.
The Senegalese center scored 6 points, in Bakken Bears' first leg victory over CSM Oradea in the Quarter-Finals on Wednesday, to move to 901 points in his fifth season of playing in the competition.

Diouf is already the competition's all-time leader in rebounds (450) and blocks (92) and now completes the trifecta after tracking down Golden's tally having been with the Bears since 2015.
The 32-year-old opened the current edition with three straight games of 10 or more points and produced a season's best of 18 points during a Second Round encounter with Bahcesehir College.
Darko Jukic - Diouf's teammate at Bakken - is third on the all-time scoring list as the only other player with more than 800 points, while ZZ Leiden's Worthy De Jong - the all-time leader in steals - is continuing to add to his tally in fourth spot.

De Jong currently has 34 more steals than Diouf, but Jukic is just one ahead, which is all the extra motivation the Senegalese star needs : "I'm going for Darko's record, De Worthy De Jong is insuperable," the big man said jokingly.
The Bears are currently aiming to reach the FIBA Europe Cup Semi-Finals for a third time with Diouf able to stretch his new-found advantage at the top of the scoring charts.
"We were supposed to play the Semi-Finals two years [but didn't] because of COVID. Now we got an amazing opportunity not only to get to the Semi-Finals but to win it all," Diouf offered.
