    MUNICH (Germany) - Thomas Van der Mars lands the first Top Performer honor of the new season after a big performance led Heroes Den Bosch to victory, on Tuesday.

    The Dutch center put up 30 points on 9-of-12 shooting along with 9 rebounds and 4 assists in his team's dramatic 99-98 overtime victory against Donar Groningen.

    Van der Mars is joined in the Gameday 1 lineup by Dragan Zekovic, who helped inspire an upset victory for CSM CSU Oradea with 22 points and 5 assists in their 91-83 triumph over Besiktas ICRYPEX in Istanbul.

    Canadian Olivier Hanlan features in the back-court after leading Iraklis BC to a comfortable 94-76 victory against Egis Kormend with 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting.

    Meanwhile, Chris Smith starred for Arged BMSLAM Stal as they defeated Szolnoki Olajbanyasz 90-80 with 23 points and 9 rebounds with just two misses in 11 attempts from the floor.

    Roko Badzim was on the wrong end of that result, but completes the team after a 26-point outing along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists for the Hungarian side in defeat.
