MUNICH (FIBA Europe Cup) - After a two-week winter break, FIBA Europe Cup returns on Tuesday with more Second Round action featuring Alba Fehervar, Demir Insaat, Belfius Mons-Hainaut and U-BT Cluj-Napoca.
Out of the four teams involved in Tuesday's contests, only Demir Insaat managed to get the ball rolling with a win in the first gameday of the Second Round, while the other three teams will be searching for their first wins.
Group J: Alba Fehervar (0-1) v Demir Insaat (1-0)
After getting through the Qualification Rounds, the Ozhan Civgin-coached Demir Insaat have lost only once in the FIBA Europe Cup this season and have the second-longest winning streak in the competition with five consecutive wins. Having defeated Egis Kormend 79-72 in the last game before the winter break, the Turkish side will once again face Hungarian opposition in Alba Fehervar, who began the Second Round with a 90-87 overtime loss against Nevezis in Lithuania.

Domestic Form: Demir Insaat could not start 2018 on a victorious note in the Turkish Basketball Superleague, falling short 84-78 against Muratbey Usak Sportif and dropping to a 5-9 record, good enough for 11th place. Alba Fehervar also suffered defeat in the Hungarian championship over the weekend, losing 78-64 to Kaposvari and dropping to fourth place with a 9-5 mark.

Group L: Belfius Mons-Hainaut (0-1) v U-BT Cluj-Napoca (0-1)
After starting the Second Round with defeats, Belfius Mons-Hainaut and U-BT Cluj-Napoca will both be looking to get their campaigns back on track. The Belgians struggled to make it competitive against Keravnos in a one-sided 89-72 defeat in Cyprus, while U-BT Cluj-Napoca lost a close battle to Donar Groningen 77-73 and were only one of two teams to lose at home.

Domestic Form: Belfius Mons-Hainaut extended their winning streak to three games in the Belgian EuroMillions Basketball League with an 86-75 win over Limburg United on Friday. They are currently ranked second behind the league-leading Oostende with a 9-4 mark. U-BT Cluj-Napoca kept the top spot in the Romanian championship by starting the year with an 82-81 squeeze against Pitesti, improving to 11-2 in the league table.
