    Alba Fehervar captain, Lorant, collects Top Performer honors

    MUNICH (FIBA Europe Cup) - Peter Lorant inspired another Alba Fehervar victory in the Second Round with his best game of the season in the FIBA Europe Cup, claiming the Top Performer honors.

    MUNICH (FIBA Europe Cup) - Peter Lorant inspired another Alba Fehervar victory in the Second Round with his best game of the season in the FIBA Europe Cup, claiming the Top Performer honors.

    The 32-year-old Hungary international scored a season-high 27 points in an 85-77 win over his former club Egis Kormend, while also adding 9 rebounds, 3 assists and a pair of steals.

    Having knocked down 10-of-12 field goal attempts and all five free-throws, Lorant collected an overall efficiency index of 38, a personal best in the FIBA Europe Cup.

    Meanwhile, Bakken Bears power forward Jeffrey Crockett continued to excel in coach Steffen Wich's high-paced offense and played a large part in the Danish side's 100-96 triumph over Szolnoki Olaj.

    The player registered a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds with a helping hand of 5 assists, while going a season-high 3-of-5 from three-point range.

    Strahinja Milosevic of Szolnoki Olaj had an equally impressive individual performance in a losing effort, filling the boxscore with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal and a block.

    Elsewhere, Lasan Kromah paced U-BT Cluj-Napoca to a momentous 71-67 win over Keravnos with an all-rounded gem of a game. The swingman had 28 points, 6 boards, 5 assists and a couple of steals, as the Romanian side triumphed in Nicosia.

    Demir Insaat point guard Erving Walker rounds out the Team of the Week with another solid night from beyond the arc, going 5-of-8 from deep en route to a team-high 19 points in a 78-75 win over Nevezis.

    The playmaker wasn't just feeling it from beyond the arc himself, but also got his teammates involved with 8 assists and did some work on the defensive end, picking up a pair of steals.
