HASSELT (FIBA Europe Cup) - Limburg United decided to mix things up after a sub-par start of the season, bringing in three new players over the last couple of days.

After welcoming on board Belgium international Wen Mukubu and Icelandic playmaker Hordur Vilhjalmsson, the Hasselt club most recently announced the signing of the 28-year-old American forward Abe Lodwick.

Lodwick is no newcomer to Belgian basketball, having spent the last couple of years at Okapi Aalstar, where he averaged 8.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in the domestic league.

Viljhalmsson, who already played two games for Limburg United in domestic league, arrived in the place of the injured Jerime Anderson. The 27-year-old Icelandic averaged 6.5 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists per game for his country in the FIBA EuroBasket 2017 Qualifiers.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old Mukubu also made his debut for his new club over the weekend, playing a total of 8 minutes in a 75-70 defeat to the league-leading Antwerp Giants.
