She led Spain to gold with 17 points and 13 boards in the gold-medal winning 73-63 triumph against Slovenia in the kind of display that has illuminated the tournament from the first day.
Averaging 13.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, she led the way and was joined in the All-Star Five by her teammate, Maria Conde who garnered 15.4 points, 5.6 boards and 2.7 assists per game.
There was also a spot for Annamaria Prezelj, whose excellent leadership from the backcourt propelled Slovenia to their historic silver medal. She led her team in scoring with 16.9 points per game.
Elizaveta Shabanova landed bronze with Russia and her tournament haul of 13.9 points and 7 rebounds was rewarded.
Finally, after leading the competition with more than 7 assists per outing, Agnes Studer took the last spot, catapulting Hungary into fifth place.
