It was a double celebration following Italy's victory in the Final over Hungary with Panzera contributing 6 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the victory.
She had a 20-9-9 stat line in the Quarter-Final success against Russia and had averages of 11.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.4 steals.
Reka Dombai was a strong MVP contender after leading Hungary to their best finish at the event since 1979. The 2002-born forward lit up the tournament - particularly in the knockout stages - with 17.7 points with 53.3% shooting from three-point range along with 3.1 steals.
Janelle Salaun earns her spot after helping France to bronze with tournament averages of 9.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, whilst shooting 41% from 3-point range. The 17-year-old had tournament bests of 15 points on two different occasions.
Panzera was joined by teammate Caterina Gilli in the lineup to back up her MVP performance at last year's FIBA U16 Women's European Championship. The forward put up 9.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in her side's unbeaten title run.
Angelika Kiss makes it a Hungarian double after being rewarded for her performances in Sarajevo. The 1.90m (6ft 3in) center poured in 12.2 points per game with her tireless work under the basket and also averaged 5.2 rebounds.
