40 and 33: Epic Etute display one of the greatest FIBA youth performances

SOFIA (Bulgaria) - Faith Ehi Etute has underlined why she's one of the most talented players of her generation after posting a jaw-dropping effort at the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship, Division B.
The Luxembourg star racked up a spectacular performance efficiency valuation of 65 after harvesting a mind-blowing 40 points, 33 rebounds, 8 steals and 6 assists. The contribution in Sofia came during a a 92-82 overtime victory against Romania having already made positive waves at the senior level for her country.

In previous tournaments, Etute has regularly put up big numbers; averaging a stunning 19.3 points and 17.1 boards per game in the same competition last summer, while in 2021, she showed out in the FIBA U16 Women's European Challengers with 20.0 points and 19.8 rebounds per outing.
Etute has already shown she can do it at the highest level after she participated in the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 Qualifiers and put up some typically amazing displays - despite her young age - including 27 points and 15 rebounds against Slovakia.
She also shone in EuroCup Women last season with T71 Diddeleng, posting a season double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds per game.
