BRATISLAVA/PIESTANY (FIBA U18 European Championship 2017) - There are four undefeated teams remaining at the FIBA U18 European Championship 2017 but none of them have locked in the pole positions for the Round of 16.

Greece have emerged as the team to beat in Group C after wins against Slovenia and Finland but have one more obstacles to get past to secure the first place in the standings, as they face Lithuania, who have failed to live up to expectations so far.

The pairing of Dimitrios Moraitis and Georgios Kalaitzakis has worked wonders for coach Georgios Vlassopoulos, whose team is the number one on offense in the tournament with an average output of 81.0 points per game.

Meanwhile, Lithuania's big guns Arnas Velcika and Ignas Sargiunas have struggled to find their rhythm. However, the Baltic side still has an impressive under-the-bonnet potential that still hasn't been put on display in Bratislava.

Another exciting game will take place in Group B, with Spain, currently 2-0, taking on Italy in another classic European derby. Spain will have time to reflect on their near-upset against Ukraine, while Italy will have had time to recuperate after a second-half collapse against Serbia, when they scored just 11 points in the second half.

    ...

Both of the teams have been dealing with health concerns, but the Spanish coaching staff expects Osas Ehigitor to be ready for action after a rest day, while Alessandro Pajola's situation is less clear for Italy.

Elsewhere, Turkey will be playing for the Group A crown with Montenegro, while Group D leaders Bosnia and Herezgovina will take on Latvia, who will be looking for a bounce-back after a 44-point smackdown by France a couple of days ago.

With all of the teams heading to the Round of 16, there will be plenty of positional tussles further down in the standings as well, with every game playing a part in deciding the pairings to start the Play-Offs.
