Cyprus, Azerbaijan set for Division C title showdown

It would be a first-ever title at the event for Azerbaijan if they were to be triumphant, while Cyprus are looking to return to the top step of the podium for the first time since 2016.
Azerbaijan took care of Andorra 87-64 in the opening Semi-Final encounter as three players recorded double-doubles for the victors.
Arda Cevahir posted a team-high 22 points along with 11 rebounds, 5 blocks and 4 assists, while Derin Berkoz finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and there was 16 points and 16 rebounds for Huseyn Gaflanov.
Ignasi Armengol and Marc Rodriguez Garcia each scored 21 points in defeat for Andorra.
Cyprus left no doubt in their 74-49 win against previously unbeaten hosts, Kosovo. Demir Oztoprak led his side in scoring with a game-high 28 points on 4-of-10 shooting from three-point range, while Dimitris Mannaris posted a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double along with 6 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks on 4-of-8 shooting from three-point.
Meanwhile, in the Classification Group 5-9, Armenia blew past Malta 93-36 and San Marino got their first win of the tournament after prevailing over Gibraltar 65-48. The tournament concludes on Thursday.
