Bielefeld bags MVP award as Germany return to Division A

Bielefeld scored 13 points to go with 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block in leading Germany past hosts Montenegro 65-57 in the Final. For the tournament, the versatile guard averaged 9.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.9 steals and 2.7 blocks.
Joining Bielefeld on the All-Star Five were Montenegro's Ksenija Nisavic and Sanja Akram, Lithuania's Daniele Paunksnyte and Iceland's Kolbrun Armannsdottir.
Nisavic had 21 points and 7 rebounds in the Final and averaged 11.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.9 steals. For her part, Akram tallied a 13-point, 11-rebound effort in the Final. She averaged 9.6 points and 7.7 rebounds for the tournament while shooting 59.2% from the field.
Armannsdottir, meanwhile, played a major role as Iceland finished among the top 5 teams. She put up 14 points and 14 boards in their win over Great Britain. For the tournament, she averaged 13.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
Paunksnyte had 10 points against Romania as Lithuania finished 7th place overall. She earned her spot on the All-Star Five with averages of 14.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
