Kosovo arrive to play at FIBA U16 European Championship Division B as visa issue resolved

SARAJEVO (FIBA U16 European Championship Division B) - FIBA confirms that, following a delay in issuing visas, Kosovo's group games in the FIBA U16 European Championship Division B have been rescheduled.

SARAJEVO (FIBA U16 European Championship 2018, Division B) - FIBA confirms that, following a delay in issuing visas, Kosovo's group games in the FIBA U16 European Championship Division B, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, have been rescheduled to allow the team to take part in the competition.

The resulting late arrival of the Kosovo team meant it was unable to play its opening games on August 9 and 10. Kosovo will play the hosts on Sunday, August 12 and Ukraine on Wednesday, August 15, allowing them to complete the Group Phase and take part in the subsequent round.

The updated schedule of the championship can be found here: http://www.fiba.basketball/europe/u16b/2018/games

FIBA will carefully review the circumstances of the late issuing of visas to the Kosovo delegation.
