Udine ready for action as FIBA U16 European Championship rosters finalized

UDINE (Italy) - The rosters of the 16 participating teams at the FIBA U16 European Championship 2019 have been verified and confirmed before the start of the tournament.
The teams finalized their 12-man rosters for the event that will see the top European basketball talents of the age category take the floor in Udine, Italy from August 9-17.
The defending champions Croatia come into the tournament with the tough task of retaining the crown, but may feel they hold the recipe to success, having been the last nation to claim back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011.
Since then, the other countries to have lifted the trophy are Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Spain and Turkey, with the French and the Spanish going all the way twice in the past seven editions.
