BLMA have enjoyed a great season so far and are sitting pretty in their group with a 5-3 record after defeating Mersin 76-63. Perhaps the key to success will be maintaining high standards – something pointed out by head coach Valery Demory.
He said: "I'm happy with our first three quarters, but we stopped playing in the last quarter when we should have enjoyed ourselves with such a big lead."
Geraldine Robert was once again the star player and she seemed quite satisfied- despite the irritation of her coach at Montpellier taking their foot off the gas.

Also on French soil, Tango Bourges beat domestic rival ESBVA-LM in convincing fashion with a 63-42 victory at Le Prado as they shut down their opponents to move to the same 4-4 record. A victory which releases some of the pressure on head coach Valerie Garnier and her players.
She said: "Yes, it’s a relief and I’m glad to see our values again, in terms of will-power and team-play.
"We still need to correct some mistakes, but it will be easier with these values.
"We are losing too many balls and it’s really a problem this season, and sometimes the players need to stay with our team play and not improvise a new one.
"I’m glad to have contained Villeneuve at 42 points when they are the best offensive team of the French championship."
There was no rest for Bourges rising star Marine Johannes who had other work to attend too.
There was success for Uniqa Sopron as they beat CCC Polkowice 76-64, with head coach Laszlo Sterbenz explaining how the 34-point Yvonne Turner had helped with her experience from playing in Poland in recent years.
He said: "We played excellent in the first half of the game and that was enough against the not so clear defense after half-time.
"Next to our 'Polish expert', Yvonne Turner, we also found other players with a good level of play."
Dynamo Kursk cruised past Wisla Can-Pack 96-59, with Angel McCoughtry revealing she has been spending extra time working out.
On Thursday night, UMMC managed to fend off Perfumerias Avenida 74-68, with Spanish ace Alba Torrens taking a victory against her ex-employers.
She said: "Congratulations to Salamanca as they showed a good game, played hard and made it very difficult for us to score.
"From our side, this game was tough as there were no easy positions. We made mistakes, but we were able to handle it.
"In the end, the score didn’t show a big difference. We did a good job, although we still must keep going and keep improving," added Torrens.
