Highly respected throughout the women's game for her skills, dedication and impressive longevity, she hangs up her sneakers at the age of 39. She made her EuroLeague Women debut in 2004 with Mizo Pecs where she played for six seasons - a run only broken by one campaign with Czech giants, Gambrinus Brno.
Joining Sopron Basket in 2012, her greatest moment came in 2022 when in her role as captain, she led her team to the EuroLeague Women title for the first-time, with a spectacular upset of Fenerbahce in Istanbul, a proud moment for the player, the club and Hungarian basketball at large.
"I think it is more than a dream. I have no words to truly explain it, maybe except that it is one of the most important moments of my whole life," she reflected at the time.
Fegyverneky ended up making a staggering 264 EuroLeague Women outings and that leaves her in third place behind Ann Wauters on 271 games and appearance leader Laia Palau with 277.

She can also reflect proudly on other impressive career numbers and not least being in sixth place for assists with 754. Fegyverneky also netted 1970 points (#24), pulled down 514 rebounds (#66), grabbed 212 steals (#43) and blocked 41 shots (#88).
Sopron Basket are honoring the service of Fegyverneky with a special reception and it is one that will give fans a chance to no doubt shower one of their all-time favorites with the recognition and appreciation she deserves.
